Zero Preparation For An Exam – Avoid Panic

How to prepare for the examination?

Where there is a will, there is a way; this adage is self explanatory. If you have the will you will certainly take the bull by horn, I mean your examination. There will be instances where for various reasons you fail to devote enough time for your studies. It may be the illness, or some compelling family issues or you were busy with some other activities. Whatever is the reason, you will get to a situation where there is little time for you to prepare and perhaps I may call it you are in a state of zero preparation for the examination. You start to worry and panic grips your mind and your self confidence seldom works. This situation even affects your results.

But a matter of advice from me, never panic. As the adage I mentioned above says there will be a way and all that matters is how you are able to address the situation. Just consider these suggestions and perhaps that would do the trick.

Keep your head up:

Keep cool and never panic. I am sure you are aware that in a situation of panic, confusion over-rides you and in the bargain you lose confidence. There are instances when people have prepared just few hours before the examination and they have come out successfully. Perhaps you can be one among them if you remain calm and plan suitably.

Don’t you think it is an astronomical experience?!  Now, if you choose ‘Astronaut’ as your career; it is something unimaginable; you add pleasure to the thrill. This is one of the most promising careers and to tell you the truth it has limited opening. This is because an astronaut has to successfully pass through many parameters. For example, an astronaut should be good in physics and mathematics. He must have good health and it is only then he can opt to take up this career.

Now let us understand more about this career. As I told you, after your 10 + 2 education in science, you can choose Aerospace Engineering or choose Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Biology as your specialized subject. Thereafter, you can take up postgraduate course and PhD if you desire. Your path to Astronaut career starts after you successfully complete your degree in any of the subjects mentioned above. Then you will have to take up the appropriate courses for being a mission engineer or specialist. For this purpose you will have to take up the examination conducted by NASA. Your selection depends on several factors like your health, ability to communicate, your participation in the team, ability to withstand psychological buildup and these should be supported by exceptional academic performance. In addition to this, you must have the ability to work in an environment which is literally cramped.

As I have already told you, career opportunities as an Astronaut are limited but if you are selected, Read more…

India emerges Asian hub for UK’s exam

English: Skyline of Mumbai from across Back Bay.

India has emerged as an examination hub in Asia for Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) with city-based Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital being appointed as the centre for clinical examination.

With this development, Indian doctors will no longer have to go to the UK and can now obtain an international qualification in India itself.

They will be allowed to use the designation “MRCPCH (UK)” with their names in their practice once they clear the tests here, says a release here.

The written examination for the MRCPCH was first held in India in 2009 and since then the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital had been the centre for the written examination in Mumbai, but candidates had to go to the UK to take the Clinical Examination.

However, the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital will hold the Clinical Examination for MRCPCH for the first time in Mumbai on June 16 and 17, the release said.
