Higher education officials at a meeting on 26th August, 2011, decided that common entrance test for PhD will be held in the first week of November. The pattern of the question paper will be decided by the UGC- NET, CSIR, and ICIR. Three cut-off marks will be declared and a score card will be provided to students on the basis of these marks and it will be valid for two years.
